With our bold direction, we’ve crafted a visual language that allows Subrosa Studios to stand proudly as an independent brand, while also blending comfortably in the existing M&F brand ecosystem.
As Lead Designer at Mason & Fifth, I collaborated closely with the Brand Director and the founding partner to develop the identity system for Subrosa Studios. I led the visual direction, from initial concepts and mood-boards to final delivery, crafting a brand that feels secretive, fluid, edgy and creative. We’ve created a recording studio that peaks the interest of a wide audience, from niche underground artists to podcasters and youtubers.

The visual identity presents Subrosa as an always morphing brand. The soft edges and fluid shapes, represent the flow of creativity in the artists’ mind as they work
The name, coming from Latin, means “happening in secret”, which is why the studio will only be available to artists selected by the Subrosa team. As another sub-brand of Mason & Fifth, Subrosa Studios needed to fit well within the wider family of sub-brands while also keeping true to its darker personality.
