Acculturation Display is a typeface that explores migration through its letterforms. The design of each glyph has been inspired by real testimonies of immigrants, all collected in a type specimen.

Once migrants move to a new country they may experience a change in identity and culture. This process is called acculturation and it is expressed in four ways: assimilation, rejection, deculturation or integration (more on this later). Acculturation is a subjective process; each person will respond to it in their own individual way.
